Total Health System
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
Agreement to terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Total Health System website, patient portal, and telehealth services. By using our site or booking care with us, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Telehealth services
Total Health System provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy exclusively by secure telehealth. Care is provided only to patients located in states where our providers are licensed.
Telehealth has some limitations compared to in-person care. Your provider will discuss whether telehealth is appropriate for your needs at your first visit, and may refer you elsewhere if it is not.
Who can use our services
You must be located in a state where we are licensed to practice, and able to provide accurate information about your identity, location, and health history.
Our services are intended for outpatient care. They are not appropriate for medical or psychiatric emergencies.
Emergencies
Total Health System is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at any time.
Appointments, cancellations, and no-shows
Please arrive on time and in a private, safe location for your telehealth visit. Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Missed appointments and late cancellations may be subject to a fee, which we will disclose to you in advance.
Payment and insurance
You are responsible for any costs not covered by your insurance, including copays, deductibles, and coinsurance. We will confirm coverage and expected costs with you before your first visit whenever possible.
Fees for services rendered are due at the time of your visit unless other arrangements have been made.
Patient responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete information about your identity, location, health history, and current medications, and to update your provider promptly if that information changes.
Prescriptions are issued at your provider's clinical discretion based on the information you provide and the standard of care.
Patient portal use
The patient portal is for non-urgent communication with your care team. Messages are typically answered within one business day and should never be used to report an emergency.
Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Total Health System or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Our website and services are provided “as is.” While we work to keep information accurate and our platform secure, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the site is free of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Total Health System is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the website or services, outside of matters governed by our clinical standard of care.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Total Health System is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
